Description of Catalytic Converter Thunderbird Mercedes Benz 94037Universal

ATTENTION: This item doesn't ship to California and Colorado, please confirm before purchase. VEHICLE FITMENT: Universal fit for vehicles with 2.5-inch inlet, dual 2-inch outlet exhaust pipe while cutting and welding may be required so professional installation is highly recommended. HIGH FLOW & EFFICIENCY: Internal honeycomb ceramic substrates have porous structure to increase the reaction area, and ensure sufficient catalysts (Pt, Rh, Pd) on the coating surface for a higher conversion rate. DURABILITY: Adopts heavy-duty T409 stainless steel shell that highly resists heat, rust, and corrosion for longer service life, no worry about bending or melting even in extreme conditions. Garbage. Catalyst failed in less than 500 miles

In less than 500 miles the catalytic converter failed, rattled and buzzed. Now I have to cut out and replace my new cat because it's broken inside and doesn't even have 500 miles on it. Fake Guarantee.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Damaged

Tested for exhaust and emissions

Works great and is exactly as shown. Doesn't look or feel cheap. I have a Bronco 95 5.8L that was leaking emissions and when I installed it it passed. Definitely recommended if you're having trouble getting through the smog.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • No power

Perfect Fit - Catalytic Converters and Parts

When the correct filters are used the check engine light will go out. The old catalytic converter was gutted by the previous owner. Perfect fit for my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500. Oxygen sensors fit perfectly. The check engine light went out. It muffled my exhaust a bit, but it sounds a lot better than before.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Compatibility

No problem! in catalytic converters

I used this on a 1995 Ram 1500 with a 5.9 Magnum. The only difference between the original and this one is that the spacing between the exhaust headers is slightly smaller. 1" to 3/4" as far as I remember. What I really liked was the presence of 2 plugs for the O2 sensors. All sizes and lengths are the same.

Pros
  • crossing my fingers
Cons
  • angry

waste of money and time.

Had to remove mine due to power outage. If I take it off and turn it over, most of the honeycomb falls out. Too bad it wasn't even 6 months ago. And my original drove 400,000. This mileage is approximately 22,000. I should be reimbursed. Considering the cost of installation and removal.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Functionality

Looks like from the spare parts store

I haven't installed it yet, but there is a difference with the real one and on the pictures that it has two plugs. The entrance and exit are slightly tilted to the side, but that won't be a problem for me. It's about an inch shorter than my stock catalytic converter in my 99th Ram. Overall it's worth the price compared to an OEM replacement from a parts store. I'm going to weld this on one end and clamp the other so the 1" difference doesn't bother me either.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Long time
