Frame is fine - not perfectly round but matches my quilting. Muline is excellent, 100 beautiful flowers! The only problem is that the thread is only held together by a strip of paper in the middle and they are all together so they get tangled. I arrange them in the pan until I wrap them around the cardboard.

I like the variety of yarn, as well as different sizes of frames. If I bought everything individually, it would cost me a small fortune. It suits my needs and the extra needles were a bonus for me because I actually go through a lot of these with my needlework (I break them easily when embroidering). This is a good set for the money.

This pack has a lot of variety and quality of yarns as far as I can tell as a beginner. My only criticism of the thread is that some of it was pre-veiled lol. The needles they supply are not of very good quality and I ended up breaking two of them and bought a few at a craft store. The tires have held up so far after about 100 hours of use or so.

The embroidery frame is great. The thread is light, but while it says the colors/numbers match the DMC, they actually don't (it doesn't matter for my project as it's hard to tweak on the fly what's in this set ). The largest needles are too big to easily fit in the supplied needle case. But by far my biggest problem is that the eye of most needles is too small to use the Janlynn 3-in-1 needle threader which is designed for cross stitch needles!

There's more good than bad here so as a beginner I'm generally happy with this purchase. I only received 99 skeins and they weren't packaged neatly so I cut out some cardboard and repackaged them myself. Some were frayed in places that had to be cut out; usually very light colors because the thread has a coarser texture for them. Honestly, the price doesn't bite. I chose this set as a beginner so I won't talk about hoop/thread quality. What I can do is share my objective observations with you. I only received 99 balls instead of the advertised 100. I've only had one repeat of that. It's captioned #703, which is a pretty green color to use for the foliage, so I won't complain too much about that. It's a bit sad that I missed two colors, but mistakes happen and I won't throw a tantrum over fifty cents of embroidery…
