I bought it to use as decorative lighting in our living room. I bought them because the description said they were white. They were definitely not warm, but cool. I want them to work, but I've reverted to them. I didn't like the big plug either. Because of this, it doesn't fit into tight spaces very easily.

Poor hardware for mounting (using tiny screws) but made by me. It's difficult to corner, but it's possible. Stretched in a closet door frame, WONDERFUL lighting and no shadows, you can see everything clearly, from shoes on the floor to items on the shelf. I think if you line it up in a straight line like it should, the hardware that comes with it would be fine.

This is the second item that we have purchased from this supplier. The first was for outdoor use almost 5 years ago and has worked without any problems since it was installed. This time we bought a shorter length for the lighting in our living room. The rope emits evenly warm light. We still need to install a dimmer on the indoor unit, but the dimmer we have for the outdoor area works fine.

I need to be extra careful with this issue because I noticed it with two threads I bought and two similar threads I bought at the big store. This seems to be the case with LED bulbs unless they are fully extended (and there are very few). So I sent them back because of the flickering but they looked quality and well made. Note that it is a thick strip with one flat side, so it looks more like a "ribbon" than a "rope" as both words are used to describe it.

I installed this set under the kitchen cabinets. Light output and color are almost perfect. I have not used a dimmer, but it is possible in the future. The small screws that come with the mounting clips are an issue (very small!) when working under cabinets, but not too bad. Only downside: the 3 foot 'bridge' offered by CBConcepts is too short if you want to get up and out from behind the microwave. Need a longer version. I had to get a little creative with my setup. Otherwise good light.

This is a replacement for the original light I ordered which burned out after installing and connecting the device. Customer service was very helpful in replacing the damaged original light tube. Replacement was sent and received within 5 days. This is high quality, good lighting. Setup is as easy as plugging in a lamp! The clear plastic "loops" provided for attaching the band fit snugly and get the job done. Installing these hinges is no cakewalk as the screws are tiny and very cheap. If you are installing them in wood, mark and pre-drill them to avoid many problems.
