It was supposed to fit my 2000 GMC Sierra but it is NOT. Be careful when ordering as I've seen a lot of people say it doesn't work for them either.

It was so easy to swap out the innards of my old remote for this new case and it's like new again. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has an old scratched and worn remote control.

Bought 2 of these. None of these fit a 2000 Silverdo. The old one would have at least rubbed the buttons. The old one had 15732803 on the back for the part number that was supposed to be replaced.

It doesn't respond like a regular remote and doesn't appear to emit a radio signal - there's no FCC ID stamp or marking anywhere on the circuit board to indicate it's a legal one functioning unit. I have a few other remotes that I've programmed to work with this car so I know I'm doing it right.
