The perfect timer! good for kitchen utensils and gadgets

Keeps accurate time. It works silently and counts down the time without annoying ticking; but it has a loud bell when time is up that you can hear from three rooms. The perfect timer!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Clarity

Never buy this even if they sell for $1.

The worst timer I've ever had. You can barely hear the sound. Out of curiosity, I opened it up and found that it was inferior in design and particularly the metal used to create the sound. And to top it off, the price was ridiculously high. I hope this is high on the rating list and not buried.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are downsides

Very nice stock of paper.

I bought this item because my old one (last century at a flea market) stopped ringing when the time ran out. This new one is very consistent: it doesn't work at all. I'm returning it to find another device that will give me the activities I'm buying it for. Otherwise, Revain performed his duties as usual: failed.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Rings before time runs out and keeps ticking 0

This is about the most useless timer you can find. It rings randomly a few minutes before the timer expires, and then keeps ticking even if there is 0 time left. When I use this I set a backup alarm on my phone which obviously defeats the purpose of having a kitchen timer in the first place. However, it is very thick, which is why I give the thickness quality 4 stars here.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No

I bought TWO of these as they looked strong. First the bottom of one fell out, then the other stopped ringing at the end, then the second broke too. Of course it's made in China. It's sad that we can no longer find many things that are made in the USA. I always try to say something positive but am frustrated because they BOTH broke within 4 months.

Pros
  • Nice piece
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

Old school is better.

Great little non-digital timer. It has all the features (easy to set up, easy to read, and a very loud ringer) I wanted without the digital hassle and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. And you don't have to have an engineering degree to figure out how to use it. I bought this little gem from Revain stock as an open pack - it works great and the price was even lower than the already low price of a new item. Yay, analogue!

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Works well for the kitchen.

I've always loved mechanical timers for baking etc. This CDN timer is perfect for me. The ringtone is loud and long enough that I could hear it even if I was napping in the living room while the cookies were baking. For people who are only familiar with timers on their phones, you should understand that mechanical timers need a spring to work. For example, if you want to set the timer for 15 minutes, first turn the dial around the timer dial and then back to the 15 minute time you want to set…

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Poorly tuned

Not difficult, easy. Poor quality for the price

I was so excited when I got my timer today. My little plastic cooker broke last week after years of use. I use a timer (mechanical, not digital) for many things. Looks good at first glance, easy to read but NOT durable. Not a heavyweight, although I think the Amazon picture shows it as a heavyweight. No, that is not so. Its light weight. About the same weight as my old lightweight plastic. Okay, so light and in my opinion (not heavy duty as the title and item description in Revain say) I can…

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Modernity
