late at night when he was sent to the ER to have his head stitched up - since I use these lightbulbs around the house [I'm 72] and can move about rooms without turning on the overhead light - I have them ordered placed in his night lights - - excellent results so far, he doesn't need a very large flashlight on his bedside table and no new falls --30 --

Good work! Hard to find locally.

For some reason 15w E12 base C-7 shaped bulbs are no longer sold in local shops. My wife needed something for these scented wax heaters that plug into the outlet. Traditional 4 watt night light bulbs do not generate enough heat. Small LED bulbs equivalent to C-7 do not generate heat. The glass dome of local 15 watt C-7 bulbs is slightly longer than this and this extra length makes them unsuitable for use in wax heaters. Potential fire hazard - do not use in salt lamps with dimmers

These lamps have a very short lifespan. When they fail, they sometimes trip the switch. I recently changed the lightbulb in my salt lamp which has a dimmer on the cord. I later noticed a burning smell and realized it was coming from the dimmer. The triac in the dimmer has blown due to overcurrent. This is because the bulb I just replaced had a section of filament that shorted and allowed the bulb to draw too much current. When I measured the DC resistance, this faulty bulb was 80 ohms. An…
