I like the look of the lamp. However, I was very disappointed with how it was designed to replace incandescent bulbs. In this case, the glass is on top of the metal rim on the underside of the lamp. This rim has two screws that attach it to the rest of the bracket. It is very difficult to hold the bowl and rim with one hand and screw it with the other. I almost fell over and broke it. Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to assemble according to instructions. We did all the lighting in this house and this is the only one where the holes don't line up, the insulation is too thick for the length of the mounting screws and the instructions are almost non-existent. We had to assemble it with other parts to hold it in the wall. Replacing lightbulbs also seems like a chore. Installation is not easy Although the black canopy (which attaches to the ceiling) has a large central hole for the nipple (a long threaded tube), the nipple is not included. Second, with no nipples, you'll need three hands to install the glass and black bottom ring - at least one to hold the heavy glass and two to screw in the tiny screws that hold the bottom edge in the fixture.
