If you need to use a bottom pole longer than 5 inches, this fan is not a good choice. If you have a question for the seller, good luck getting an answer. I will return this useless POS asap.

Absolutely like the remote function, summer, winter reverse fan direction. Really thought the brightness of the light might be too great, but it's not. Installed by a professional electrician, didn't want to tinker with the electrics.

Looks good but the three holes for the fan blades have already been ripped off :( The screws won't go in! They have a screw on top so if you're close to the ceiling you'll need it attach everything together to the ground and try to lift his hum at medium speed!

This elegant fan provides a good breeze. 3 speeds and light work perfectly. Unfortunately, the hum is too loud at any speed. Our electricity is 110 volts 50 Hz which may be the reason for the buzzing. One thing is for sure, I can't sleep with this fan humming. Sorry but all the value of the lower price has evaporated due to its smooth and deeply disturbing roar.

Remote works as expected. The noise level is very good. Installation was a difficult task due to the included instructions. Apparently, they were translated into English from another language. I realized that the "ground" wire was the ground wire. They refer to the "hemispheres" which I considered sides or top and bottom. The shortened sentences led to the use of the imagination.

First let me say that this fan is not my style. It's brushed nickel and I like the old school look. However, I bought it as a gift and they loved it. It is fairly easy to install and has a remote control that can be wall mounted. The remote control not only controls the fan speed, but also turns the light on and off. Brushed nickel looks modern and fresh if you like this look. love this remote control. Loved Homer Simpson with this one.

Pros: Fan looks nice when raised, gives off lots of bright light and provides good air movement. Disadvantages: 1. Bought 3 of these brand new. 2 is returned. Beautiful view. The remote couldn't look or feel cheaper. Everything was going great until it was time to install the fan blades.
