Worked great. A little difficult to install, but only because of the small working space. I've saved this to my list in case I need to reorder.

Disabling our fan switch was so easy! I saved a lot of money by not buying a new fan. I thought replacing the switch would be difficult, but it only took a few minutes! I'm so thankful they had this switch to fix my fan. I love my fan and don't want to bother trying to find a new one.

The chain broke inside the switch, causing the original to break. To top it off, it's no longer available through the original source. There is no point in going back as the cost, time and lack of money mean I would be wasting my time.

This switch was an exact replacement for the ZE-268S6 4 wire switch that was in my fan. Take your time and use a paper clip to unplug each wire one at a time from the old switch and plug it back into the new switch. Then continue with the next wire until all 4 wires are connected and you have successfully swapped your switch. I was happy to find exactly the model I needed for the OLD HUNTER FAN. I was concerned that I would have to do the actual wiring, but in my case I didn't. I removed the light fixture and removed the box with all the wires so it was easy to work with and didn't get electrocuted (ha!). I took a photo of which color wires go to holes 1, 2, 3, L.
