Big telescope - camera and photo

So far I have used it once and took a close-up of a faint star. I hope to get photos of the eclipse on the 21st. I have the right filters for that.

  • Great
Cons
  • Everything is great

My Favorites: Binoculars and Scopes

I am new to astronomy and have tried several telescopes, this is my favorite so far. I could see the rings of Saturn and Jupiter and 4 of its moons.

Pros
  • Great Variety
Cons
  • Problems

Good Price Telescopes

The reflecting telescope has a decent 4.5 inch aperture. The tripod is very durable. He has an Alt-Az mount with an unusual slow-motion alt controller. Viewfinder is the red dot type that many people prefer. It has two typical Kellner eyepieces and a valuable 3x Barlow lens. good value

Pure quality reflectors

This is by far the best telescope I have ever owned, best value for money and just overall a quality sight. I can see Venus still impacting Jupiter and I can count craters on the moon with a 20mm lens and 3x Barlow magnification. The 4mm piece is the only negative thing about a telescope, do yourself a favor and buy a good quality 6mm piece instead.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No insurance

Not a product for dark sky viewers

Just not satisfied. The search laser stopped working the second time and after changing the battery it didn't work either. This is after 30 days. But will Revane accept a return? The moon is the only thing we can see. Or buy if you plan to see some planets. It is better to buy a more expensive telescope.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Some little things

The moon is shining so close

My granddaughter and I studied the stars and planets. At first we had a little trouble figuring it out because we were driving fast trying to focus and we shot right past him. After a friend showed us how to slow down, we were able to see it and haven't stopped gazing at the stars since. A great way to connect with the next generation!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long wait

Great for crafters who want to see the planets!

I love this telescope. This is my first real telescope, but I've had several smaller ones. You can see the moon very close, and with high-magnification lenses you can see planets like Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. It's difficult to see planets larger than shown in the photos unless it's a very clear night with no moisture in the air. However, on a clear night you can easily see the rings around the red spot of Saturn and Jupiter if you focus properly.

  • Weight

  • Annoys

It didn't work right away

Find a model to buy as a replacement because sooner or later you'll need it. The Starmeter did not work right out of the box. Battery checked, everything ok. Poor instructions on how to access the battery and how to turn the viewfinder on and off, I had to search YouTube for videos. I would like to buy another one but can't find a replacement so I have to return the telescope or pay for shipping to and from the factory. A warranty replacement will cost more than the cost of the part with no…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later

Good telescope for beginners - after some work

This is my first telescope. But I spent a lot of time learning about telescopes before deciding on an entry-level telescope. I had my doubts about this scope when I first used it. The scope came with a secondary mirror cap (which had glue to hold it in place) glued to the primary mirror. When I took it off, there was a glue stain on the mirror. I also bought a laser collimator with a scope and found that it was a Bird Jones style scope that required some disassembly to use the laser collimator.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
