This product is cheap but effective. You don't have to take your hands off it every time you use the mount, just slide your phone in (the pad holds the phone in place after all, the pad and the print) And hey - this thing is so super cheap why not buy one (or a few like i did for all my friends!) Considering how many other car mounts for smartphones there are, I had to try this. I went in knowing there was a good chance it would be garbage. It doesn't stay on the dash, my phone has been dropped multiple times. I didn't want to use the included vent mount because I didn't want to block the air.
