🧹 Efficient Cleaning Companion: Cen-Tec Systems Vacuum Floor Brush Review

The cuff that fits the vacuum hose ripped after just a few weeks. Since it's only a friction fit, I had to put tape on the stick until I got a replacement. (makes it difficult to change attachments). The phrase "it was cheap" sums up the pros and cons.

So good, for only $8 (bought used) my old Kenmore became a really useful vacuum. Dust is sucked up very well, especially with a brush that mixes it up. The wide width means you can vacuum an entire room very quickly, and the rotation allows you to get under beds and things.

I did a great job replacing the broken brush head but the bristle configuration is far from perfect. The front bristles have a window about 0.25 inches shorter than the rest of the head. This makes it great for picking up debris when you're moving forward, but not so well when you're retreating. I plan on trimming the rest of the bristles to the same length, which should help.

I bought this vacuum brush to replace a broken NuTone hard floor nozzle. This one seems to be much stronger at the neck where it's attached to a metal rod. I use it on linoleum and it works well and is easy to manoeuvre. It is securely attached to the stick and has never tried to slip off. Most or all NuTone tips have a small hole where the retractable piece holds the tips. This brush didn't reach that far to the stick, but I was very impressed with how secure it was.

The brush meets my expectations. I read some other reviews that it also includes adapters or something to be able to attach it to another vacuum end with different diameters. The item I received did not come with an adapter and will not fit the end of the hose or extension on my Bissell vacuum. However, I will go to Home Depot or a hardware store and buy a PVC plug that should work so I can do the job of vacuuming the textured painted surfaces of my interior ceiling.

I received this item to vacuum the floor of a bus. It worked well, I had to walk across the floor a few times. I also used it in my RV and had to walk across the floor with it several times. I then tried it on a dog bed to see how it worked. It does an excellent job of pulling dog hair out of fabric. Beautiful long bristles that are suitable for both smooth and moderately uneven/rough surfaces. The rear row of bristles curves forward around the ends of the body. The front row of bristles is shorter vertically, which allows you to pick up larger items when you move the vacuum cleaner forward.
