Cheap hose. Good size for the price but you get what you pay for.

Beautiful hose. It's fairly light for a 50ft hose, but that comes at a price. That price is because it bends very easily. This is a cheap hose but good quality. My other hose is an original hose that is over 23 years old and starting to show its age. I don't think this hose will last half as long.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Some variety

Cheap and broke after just a few uses

Do not buy this product. I went back to repairing duct tape so first I needed a new hose. The quality is not at all what I expected from this company. HOSE IS CHEAP. I finally got an answer from the company. They're sending a replacement tube, so I'm changing my guess. I hope that hose isn't damaged either.

  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose

The best of the ones I used

First time with this brand. I had to replace the hose. It works great and I found it fits better in an outlet. My old hose was dangling and that was very annoying. This hose stays in place and I found the suction much better. So far very satisfied. I've only used it once. If I find a problem I will update my review.

Innovative design, much better than the original hose

Works very well with my old Filtex central vacuum system: the ergonomic handle is an unexpected treat. An on/off switch on the handle turns the vacuum system off remotely from the handle rather than having to disconnect the hose from the wall. The crush resistance of the hose is lower than that of the 25 year old original hose. But then I really don't care because I'm not on the hose. The advantage is that the new hose is lighter.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

50 feet is too long. lose suction power. Reach 30 feet

If I had thought about it for a few minutes, I would have understood. 50 feet requires a lot of suction power. We recently replaced our central vacuum motor with a unit that is 2x more powerful than the previous one (new motor for a 10,000 sq ft house, a 3.5,000 sq ft house). With this hose, the suction power is slightly higher than the last motor when I used the 20ft hose. I suggest you buy a 30-35 foot hose. Also, I bought a "matching" wand off Amazon and it doesn't fit. The handle has a…

Long and Light: Vacuum Cleaner and Floor Care

We have a large house with three central vacuums on each of the three floors. The hose that comes with the 40-year-old Hoover system does about 90 percent of what we need to clean. Annoying, but we put up with it for years and used a shop vacuum for the other 10 percent. We had to carry the hose up and down the stairs so we can buy more hoses and keep one on each floor. At first we thought the 50ft hose was too long and heavy. Because the low voltage hose we purchased does not have high voltage
