When we travel around Africa the places we have stayed don't have as many outlets as in the United States. For this reason it was necessary. It worked fine. Connected to the converter and could charge 3 devices at the same time. I would recommend.

This review is for the three outlet model (no USB ports). Used it in Spain and USA and had no problems with it. My electronics worked without any problems. Having a 6 foot cord is really helpful so you have an extension cord where you need it. It's compact for travel, yet still has plenty of space between sockets for your plugs.

This is a heavy duty extension! Robust construction. Exactly what I was looking for. Accepts 100-240V and 4 USB ports charge my iPhone/iPad devices without having to lug around power adapters when traveling. A bit pricey but worth the price!

Very good. The cable to connect to the socket could be a bit longer, but it is very good. I bought it to throw any kind of connector on it.

We are fortunate to travel the world and country several times a year on family trips. We are a family of 4 with a lot of electronics. So this surge protector is used quite often. When we get to the site, I plug this thing in right away and in minutes it's charging phones, tablets, laptops and cameras. . Plugs do not work except for a spark when plugged in. USB ports charge normally. When plugging in American plugs, they just wobble. Sometimes they worked when we used a US to UK adapter, but other times they lit up. It is NOT universal.

I am often in places with questionable electricity. This extension cord gives me a more secure connection with just one adapter. As I become more and more dependent on electronic devices that need regular charging, it has helped me stay connected in unfamiliar offices, coffee shops, and even airports where there never seem to be enough outlets. This was a great product. Any type from all over the world can be connected to the bar. Helps when people come to the US from different parts of the world. The USB ports are useful for charging additional devices, I wish the cable was a bit longer.
