Ideal for Biomedia Swamp.

Perfect for our 135 liter aquarium sump. I strongly recommend flushing before installation as there will be dust from shipping.

great for filter accessories

Works great I went from 150 gallons to 300 gallons with a 75 gallon pan and had no problems! worth the money, i also got some good bacteria from dr. Added Tim who never lost a single fish! PS uses three of the 2 liter boxes.

Solid Filter Materials - Aquarium Pumps and Filters

I have used these along with some good bacteria and they have really helped my saltwater aquarium. Just remember to rinse them with Ro/Di water before placing them in the sanctuary. If you don't, they will release a lot of small particles into your tank. Hope this helps, happy riffing

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • No Efficiency

I HAVE serious problems with ammonia in my tank

I HAVE serious problems with ammonia in my tank. . I had to empty the tank several times because my fish were poisoned by my hand cream. That's why I lost control of my bacteria. I put them in an aquarium and added bacteria, after 7 days the problem was solved. Marinepure saved the show. Literally. Thank you guys! I want to replace all my biofilters with Marinepure.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Work well. No questions.

They seem to be replacing quite a bit of live rock in my reef tank effectively, giving me more interesting rocky terrain and less sand. They are kept in a dark place in your aquarium or sump. They have tiny pores that easily become clogged with detritus and algae. They are also excellent for seeding other aquariums. I added 2 from my DT to my QT tank and just replaced the 2 I took out. Instant cycle tank.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Almost never

Definitely an update on the plastic Bioballs.

nitrate/nitrite/ammonia are at an undetectable 0 level since use but I have to say I used significantly more than I need for my 185g. The phosphate levels have not gone down in my experience but I have also many thighs I feed seaweed daily. I've sprinkled them in my overflows and swamp from scratch, they're holding up well and haven't gone bad in over a year, and they're all big enough that you don't have to worry about them getting stuck in most places stay or pump. - They clog when used…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • The list will be long.
