Much better than I expected!

I am very surprised by these gloves. When I opened the plastic packaging they came in I was surprised to see how good the build quality is. There were no seam defects or inconsistencies. They are well built. How light they are, I'm amazed at how warm they keep my hands. The -30 degree statement is more like "your hands don't get cold at -30" than "your hands stay warm at -30". But I like it because they weren't so warm that my hands would sweat. I used these gloves for cycling on a rainy, windy

Tight fit (medium), fingertips get cold after 30 minutes in 25 degree weather

These gloves have a snug fit in medium. They seem to keep you warm (for running, walking, etc.). I would recommend going up a size depending on the size of the item. EDIT: After a couple of long walks with my dog in 25 degree weather my toes are starting to get really cold after about 30 minutes. Our walks are usually 60-90 minutes, and in the last 30-60 minutes my fingertips get cold. I find this a little strange, I downgraded the rating to 3 stars as they are supposed to be rated for minus 30

It doesn't heat up at all, it barely registers on the touchscreen.

I wore these gloves for 15 minutes outdoors and walked 5 blocks to work. It was 10 degrees outside. I put on gloves before leaving the house and by the time I got to work my fingers were numb. I also wore them home from work for another 15 minutes in 10F (feels like 0 due to wind chill) and again my fingers were numb. So much for isolation? I also tried using the "touchscreen" function outdoors and hardly any touches were registered. I do not recommend. They come back for a refund.

Update 2021: Food is out; Does not heat up in 18 degree frost

Negative 30? No chance. I just pumped up my tires at the gas station. It's 18 degrees outside. my fingers are cold They also look more like ski gloves, but not as puffy. So bulky for driving gloves. But I figured I'd live with that for the extra warmth. But they are not as warm as my ski gloves and now I'm looking for Revain again. The problem is. .- 3M lining Thinsulate is a plus . I've had similar Thinsulate gloves before and they work well so I'm very satisfied. With cheaper gloves, the seams often fail. I haven't had a chance to break these gloves in yet, but a visual inspection of the stitching looks good. The conductive finger pads work quite well.
