This filter: Filter

Don't expect miracles unless your old filter is completely NEGATIVE. It does what it's supposed to and removes the occasional dust from the room air. It was easy to install if you have little fingers. We fat-fingered boys are going to have some extra bitchy moments. But it's still doable.

Cons

Activated carbon is built in to remove odors during filtration.

Heavy construction. Built-in charcoal to purify the air and remove odors. Replacing my old filter (30,000 miles) with a Fram made a world of difference. The car heats up faster and with less stress, and the air conditioning works quickly and efficiently. Hopefully this fram replacement will last the next 30,000 miles.

Doesn't matter! best in filter

works like a champ. I was driving south on a business trip and drove through smoke blanketing the highway from wildfire, it usually seeped straight into the cabin but not this time! The smoke stretched at least 1/2 mile, and it wasn't JUST before I saw the plume, I felt a slight hint of it. Impressive to say the least.

If your car stinks and is being abused, this will help.

I am spending more time in my work car due to Covid-19. I spend all my breaks and lunches in the car instead of eating among people or at my work place. My poor work machine takes abuse from this and can knock a little every now and then. Wet jackets, a cool box, spilled coffee, the smell of food can just stink. I can really say differently since I installed them. Ease of installation.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

Two filters did not fit

Love these cabin filters and have used them before, bought locally. The problem with this purchase is that I ordered two of these and although they are the same size and fit together, one of them has a pitch black side and the other doesn't. They should be the same element and not look the same. I wanted two activated carbon filters like I've bought locally in the past and was expecting a stable product but only got one. The font printed on the sides of the filters was also a different size and

High quality filter

I bought another cabin filter for my car. It was a cheap, poor quality filter. But this poor quality product was clogged after 3 months and now almost cuts off the airflow. In addition, my car was enveloped in a terrible smell of damp. The area where I live is humid, and the dust accumulated in the filter becomes dirt due to moisture and clogs the filter. After that I wanted to try this product as it was of good quality and now the result is excellent. Thanks to the carbon in the filter or the…

SO EASY to install: Filter

I had constant allergy attacks (intolerable sneezing, coughing, etc.) while driving, so I decided to install the cabin filter ahead of time. Since I was fed up with paying the dealer $70 to install it (they told me it was "very hard to get", ha!), I thought I'd see if there was a way to do it myself to buy, maybe find an installation. Instructions. It took me about TEN MINUTES to install this including the time it took me to get outside to my car. Ridiculously easy, just open the glove box door

Pros
