I've always used Fram products so I know they're great. but the filter I received was damaged. The filter was damaged so I could not install it in the vehicle. I had to buy a new one at the local car dealership.

Do not buy this item for the 2011-13 Ford Transit Connect. That's too long, it should be 13-13/16, that's 14.3. I opened the Revain box and now it's too late to return it.

Will NOT fit my 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 with 2.0 engine. It turns out that permanent engine and cabin filters are installed in my car. I bought it because everything I've read says it fits 05 Focus but doesn't seem to fit mine. The product itself might be great but I have no way of knowing.

I bought this for a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 and what a HUGE difference! I spent a lot of time cleaning the air intake and removing years of dirt so we don't breathe it in again. Between the cleaning and the cabin filter, the quality of the cabin air is SIGNIFICANTLY better! My wife has a lot of asthma and allergy problems so she focused on her favorite car because the air is fresh and clean here! She can go anywhere and doesn't have to cough all the way.

Fits my 2003 Focus ZX3 with a little persuasion. My car didn't have a cabin filter, just a mesh cover. This filter works. You just have to be patient with it. I had to press the filter in on both sides to get it snug and consequently a few creases were upset but not damaged or torn. I can definitely see this filter working. I'm only taking off one star because it's a little bigger than it should be, but it will work. I can recommend this filter and will buy it again. 2003 Focus ZX3.

To install the HVAC filter, remove the Phillips head screws holding the plastic cover on the passenger side. Then remove the black foam pad in front of the hood. The seal is removed by pulling forward. Then remove the torx screws securing the horizontal black metal plate. Now you can see the area where the HLK filter is located. I've been looking at online tutorials on how to install it and they must be using a different focus of the year as it's a metal box with a metal screen instead of the plastic box in the tutorial. The filter didn't quite fit my 2002 Ford Focus SVT but I was able to fit it there without having to cut or mangle the filter but on top of that There was a small shelf next to the filter housing which there was no way the filter could fit back into. However as the filter is so big I don't think I need the top to attach it so it's just been put aside and we'll see how it works.
