I cannot give any toaster 5 stars as it is generally subjective. I am very happy with this toaster. I like the long cord and stable temperature control (which annoys me the most).

Light and quite comfortable. The temperature is a little tricky to pinpoint, but after not having a toaster for years, I'm glad I have some. I've mostly only used it for English muffins so the thinner slice tends to get a little crispier than the thicker one, but it's good and affordable.

The toaster was sent back after a few weeks of brief use. Isn't it too hard to ask a toaster to toast bread evenly and without drama? No matter how I adjusted the settings, it was either "raw" or burnt at the end of its very long cycle. In addition, the cord is on the front of the unit where the control settings are located, so it always wraps around the unit when in use; not a good design. I definitely do not recommend this device.
