Not sure why this happened, it didn't appear to be a quality issue, although the paper backings on these filters appeared to be a little thinner than AP filters. This filter pack was cheaper than Lowe's and Home Depot, even with the veteran's discount. They arrived quickly and matched our first filter perfectly. sediment filter.
