I had these years ago and if you put at least 4 wheels per wheel you can drive them. The problem is that if you only use 2 they will twist and then break off. Best scenario is 6 per wheel but price is prohibitive, check ebay.

I bought these chains about 8 years ago and the quality of the nylon was much sturdier. They were riveted together on the overlay (nylon). The ones I just bought were sewn and the nylon was much softer. On the new seams were not so good. It's a shame when someone makes a great product and then decides to cut corners. Bring back the durable nylon!

I bought a set of four chains because the idea was great because they were easy to attach. I'm stuck in the mountains in the snow. Installation required less effort compared to traditional snow chains. .But those damn things broke after about 10 minutes of trying to pull off. One broke his belt, two broke their chains, and one survived. I would not recommend these anti slip mats. I prefer to stick to the traditional style.

I bought these direct from Tirechains.com a few years ago. There are no issues with them as a company, I have bought many wheel chain sets from them over the years. I included them in the order because the concept seemed simple. Unfortunately, the first time my Envoy got stuck on ice, I put them on and they fell apart completely. They are not very well made and do not withstand loads (e.g. when trying to unhook the car).
