I used this item on my great grandfather's chair which is over 100 years old. This was my first time weaving a cane and I found the product met my expectations (which were based on YouTube videos). Great product if you are looking for handling before using it to braid pipe.

I bought the product before reordering when I needed it but was very disappointed with the quality of this second set of poles. Easily tears and breaks on me despite keeping it as wet as possible. A complex project made very challenging. Not enough to finish this project because I had to throw away so much.

I ordered reeds to make a Nantucket basket. I walked almost all 270 feet of pipe to make the basket. I have a message for VI Reed and Kane explaining how my load of reeds was split. They responded immediately and said they would replace the stick. Above is a basket I made from her awesome stick. I will definitely be using VI Reed and Cane again!
