Use it on the board to make it easier for kids to see

I use them on my school boards for notes, upcoming events, etc. I've kept one board throughout the year and just added something new . At the end of the year, chalk ink wipes off perfectly with a fairly damp cloth. I think others have said not to use them with chalkboard paint and contact paper, but they work great on plain old chalkboards.

Strong colors, works well

I've used them on a real chalkboard and chalkboard contact paper and they work well on both. It took a while before they finally worked. I was apprehensive at first, but you just have to keep shaking and squeezing it. It is very easy for an adult to draw both very thin and thicker lines with these markers. But I found it harder for my kids to use them properly. They wipe off easily with a damp paper towel, but otherwise stay on pretty well once the "ink" dries. I like her alot!

Colorful and fun painting

I love using them for the chalkboard wall sticker. It's nice to be able to color your to-do lists. Writing with them takes some practice, and so the color isn't always consistent the first time, so I give it 4 starts instead of 5. If you're writing more than a few words, you'll need to shake the marker regularly to make sure there's enough ink comes out. This is especially true if you write more than a few words point-up. I found pink and blue the most difficult, while green and yellow had good

Nice bright color! So easy!

I stuck chalkboard contact paper to a narrow wall in our kitchen hallway. These chalk markers are best for bright contrast and fine detail. There is no lime dust to deal with. They're as easy to use as any paint marker, yet only need a primer once to get started and sometimes when left for a while between uses. Clear water is sufficient to remove marks that are only a few days old. Stains that persist for several weeks require complete removal of the ammonia-based solution; a little ghosting…

Exactly what I was hoping to find.

I was looking for better "whiteboard markers" to recommend to an author who runs 2 workshops a year where he regularly draws on the board. As this is a tiny focus of their overall extremely high quality tutorial series, it's always a little frustrating to see the struggle of dry markers and markers left behind everywhere from spooky shadows to smudges to frankly huge residue the one Thorough cleaning between sessions require erasing. These rest breaks could have been put to much better use by…
