These markers worked great. They were like chalk and wrote very fluently. The only problem I had was that the chalk paint rubbed off easily but left a "clean" spot of the drawing/words. I used them to write the names of the places on the mini board. The surface was a smooth panel, so the stain could have been caused by the coating on the panel. Maybe that wouldn't have happened on a real board. But I will continue to use them. They are of excellent quality.

PROS: Good colors, no bleeding or box warping, low odor. They also worked well on plain paper, the paper warped a bit but I expected that as they aren't really designed for 20lb paper. CONS: The downside of these pens is that the pens we received are "blurry". You are basically draining and wasting the ink. It was hard to tell if some of the pens were running out of ink because of this, after the ink was released all at once the pen seemed to run out. We may have received a defective set, but 4

PROS: Love the colors (as pictured) and the way they write. They are easy to use, smooth and do not run. I use them on a chalkboard for a man cave. Haven't tried washing it off yet, except for small posts. I could rub off small areas with a little water or saliva. Once dry I was able to run my hand directly over the ink without smearing it. CONS: I'm disappointed that after only two big letters the yellow ink ran out and I had to fight to finish the stroke. the whole word and ordering another…

I loved these chalk markers and really liked how they looked on the blackboard, but. When I tried to delete it, it didn't come out at all! I cleaned it with soap and water and Windex which they recommend for cleaning the board. It never really came out and it ruins the board so now I feel like not only did I spend money on markers but my board is messed up and lost because I can't reuse it. I am very disappointed that I will win. I can't make my son a milestone until I replace the broken…

***UPDATE*** I found my surface porous and modified it (lesson learned, USE A PRIMER) and they work really great. They are very easy to remove from the surface required for use and leave no traces or "ghost" inscriptions. This is a really great product, but you MUST have a non-porous surface. This is my first homemade board and I didn't know or understand some of these things. I canceled my return, these markers will definitely meet my needs! The colors are amazing.
