Champion Copper Spark Plugs

Great for Jeep 4.0 Engines! Simple candles for the BRUTSK ENGINE. 243,000 miles I no longer use fancy candles. I think it was money well spent in those days years ago.

Proper spark plug for Jeep 97 4.0 liter.

Proper spark plug for 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0. My Jeep starts easier than the Accel spark plugs I put in after replacing the original champions at 177,000 miles. Champions had to be installed but I bought an Accel tuning kit, wire, connector, rotor and cap. I've noticed that Accel Plugs have a shorter range than champions and don't jump in as easily.

Don't buy fancy platinum spark plugs for your Jeep 4.0. Look at the gap on them, .035 platinum irriduim or something else where the gap is much larger. It stresses the coil cover and rotor and corrodes the cover and rotor, resulting in lousy idling and stalling at higher RPMs. Buy these and a cap with brass connectors and 8.2mm cutting wires and you'll have a chain that will last a long time. A 3/4 turn after contact with the head will crush the washer. A torque wrench is not required. Taylor…
