I bought a used winch and the cover that came with it was completely ruined. I bought this and a few days after buying it we got caught in a terrible downpour and then we went on an off road trip and it looks great.

Nice material and goes really well with my Champion 4500 lb winch. Unfortunately, the strap is sewn into the channel for security, so it cannot be tightened to secure the case. Buying a pair will solve the problem if you attach the velcro to the ends.

This is my second review as I have owned and used a winch since I purchased my product a month ago. This winch is without a doubt the best bang for your buck. I've had so many people interested in the beautiful looks and dynamics of these winds. Definitely recommend this winch. What a great deal and I am sure I will be buying Champion products.

Not sure I would buy them again. I bought two of these to cover two champion 3000 lb winches. They fit perfectly but on the first day one of them broke the plastic clip on the cord. I was still able to take cover and figured it was just an isolated incident. A few months later the plastic clip on the other broke. Also, the covers are badly faded and not even a year old.

Neoprene is a good material and appears to be sewn fairly well. However, I'm not sure if the one I received is defective or just poor design, but the clamp on the rope to hold the lid securely over the winch lacks enough spring tension to close the clamp and lid keep. Place. It easily detaches and blows away in light winds, especially when it was above the winch and moving across the road at highway speeds. Be prepared to find a workaround for the compensation.

Fits well on my winch, the cord is tight at the bottom. It keeps the winch clean and dust free. However, with the bracket and hook for the winch cable, it's not tight enough and I hope it doesn't fly off the road. So I just take it off when I travel. Also, it's not waterproof - maybe water resistant, but moisture does get through. (I fixed it with NeverWet) And it quickly faded in the sun so probably won't last more than a few years. Overall I'm happy for the price.

It doesn't fit tight what fits me. I didn't want it to be so tight that it would take a lot of effort to remove. I mounted the solenoid on the side, not in the middle. With this setting, the cover looks crooked, but that doesn't bother me either. The coating survived the summer heat, fall rains and winter whirlwind apocalypse of 2014 in upstate New York.
