Great Isolation Solution for Automotive Brake System

As a new buyer in the market for Performance Car Parts & Accessories I recently had the pleasure of using the Channel Optocoupler Isolation Isolated Detection product for my automotive brake system. My analysis of this product showed that it is a great isolation solution that provided accurate and reliable detection. The installation process was easy, and the overall design was well-thought-out. One con was that it could be a bit pricey compared to other options on the market .Overall, I would…

Pros
  • Provides reliable isolation between different circuits, ensuring safety and preventing electrical interference.
Cons
  • May introduce a slight delay in the signal transmission due to the isolation process, potentially affecting real-time applications.

Works on 120V! best replacement parts

I was expecting to change the main resistors to a lower value to make them work at 120v. To my surprise, it works well at 120V. In fact, I put it on my variac and found that they turn on very hard even at 20V! What really bothered me in my project is that I use it to determine the start of the generator, but in my case it doesn't matter. But keep this in mind for yours! I think they work so well because there is a transistor on the low voltage side which should be pretty sensitive. I've seen…
