Great keys. Who knew adjustable wrenches could work so well. I should have done this update much sooner. It's like day and night when I use them compared to the cheaper stuff I've used my whole life.
Received them recently. I am so impressed with these two keys. There's also no banging or play in the adjustment mechanism. The coated handle feels comfortable and insulates against electricity and cold. Highly recommended.
Perhaps the best adjustable wrenches regardless of the price. They are manufactured by Irega in Spain. Easy to adjust and stays in place without much slippage.
The planes are perfectly aligned, the barrel is smooth, the coating is thick and very hard. They are nice to use. It was really hard to find anything without a lot of negative reviews and it's not exactly cheap but it's worth it.
If you want to HATE all other adjustable wrenches, buy this one! You will get used to how well made this key is that if you use any other brand you will swear and probably throw this POS on the floor. Seriously, that's all a wrench should be.
Pros - good grip, good fit on screw heads, metric and standard scale, good quality, thinner jaws for better access, good adjustment. Cons - a little pricey, suggests this is the USA - SPAIN is written directly on the pin - advertised as USA and never presented with the image of SPAIN on the side of the pin
I was looking for something made in the USA so I ended up spending more. I gave them four stars because they are superior to the Chinese crap I find locally. I think they are a bit pricey but I would recommend them. Not sure why they are made in Spain as the actual channel lock pliers I bought are made in the USA. The blue handles are nice but I suspect they don't stay that way and are difficult to clean.
Who knew an adjustable wrench could be special or even different? Well, now there is. I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to share that these wrenches are far superior to any other wrench I have ever owned. They size with precision, hold their size perfectly without bending even a micron, and feel solid in the hand. A little more than some other keys, but worth every penny. I highly recommend them.
I usually like to buy tools from the US, but if you're into tools you probably know that Irega basically makes a line of products: the best adjustable wrenches you can buy for the money. One could argue that the German Knipex pliers can be just as good, and for good reason (I have them too), but they are a lot more expensive. The handles are strong and comfortable, the details fit perfectly. machined, no slip/slip noted and so far I have not had any chips or even scratches. Channellock…
