Bought 2 of these rugs. They are very good as long as you don't use them or try to wash them. After several days of use as a kitchen rug and washing once, the rug was frayed, split at the side seam and torn. It's thick and holds quite a bit of water, and my washing machine had a hard time draining it. Also slightly decreased. I contacted the seller, explained the problem and sent photos. They refuse to do anything to fix the situation and don't endorse their products. I would not recommend this

These are very nice, thick carpets. Outstanding quality for the price. I bought nonstick pads to put underneath because I have hardwood floors and these are for my kitchen. I didn't want my kids tripping over it and I have a little cat that loves to bury things under rugs so pillows will prevent that. When I wash them, I wash them cold, gentle, and fluff them in the dryer on low heat until damp, then line dry. It's cotton, so they shrink and need shaping when wet. I've had these rugs before…

I ordered 2 of these rugs for the kitchen, one in front of the sink and one in front of the stove. I'm so happy with them, they look beautiful and the quality is excellent. I love that they are machine washable! Since they are in the kitchen, this was a major selling point for me. I haven't washed them yet so can't comment on how they'll hold up after washing, but I plan to wash them in cold water and tumble dry or hang dry. I have these rugs on a smooth wooden floor to keep them from slipping.

I love the look and design of this black and white bathroom rug. He is sitting on a white tile. The black fluff is amazing! I thought my air duct needed cleaning. The carpet was placed in the air dryer 2 times while it was tagged. The fluff in the filter is completely black. Now it's hanging over a chair in my kitchen and I can't decide what to do with it. Just swept and mopped the kitchen with a steam mop. More black fluff! That's worse than losing a dog! Unfortunately, this is the last window

I'm generally not picky, but I've struggled to find a rug that makes me happy. They're either too slippery or too ugly or too fancy or too high that I trip over them etc. It took me years and years to find an attractive rug that was washable, the right size/height, durable and without those annoying tassels was over. I have children and pets, so any rug I get should be washable. I bought this for the kitchen, in front of the sink so the tiles don't get slippery and dirty when my son (Mr Mess himself) washes the dishes. The price surprised me. The pattern is pleasant, the mat is soft, it absorbs moisture well, it is washed well. The design is not printed like some carpets. I have bought a few of these and tried Safavieh rugs in the past which I usually like online but will come back once I see them in person. These Chardin rugs are excellent in every way: better finished, brighter colors (white is whiter than the dirty beige color Safavieh calls "ivory" or something like that), cleaner out of the box (can't believe which I was talking about but Safavieh rugs are always so dirty!) and most importantly ODOR FREE.
