I have bought a few of these and tried Safavieh rugs in the past which I usually like online but will come back once I see them in person. These Chardin rugs are excellent in every way: better finished, brighter colors (white is whiter than the dirty beige color Safavieh calls "ivory" or something like that), cleaner out of the box (can't believe which I was talking about but Safavieh rugs are always so dirty!) and most importantly ODOR FREE. I say zero smells! Safavieh rugs always have that musty/mouldy smell like they've been stored in a damp basement for years. Chardin rugs don't have that dirty, moldy quality. I had no problem untangling them and my cats attacked them a few times. They also wash well when spot washed and I have a feeling (although I have yet to try) that they wash well in a front loading machine on the gentle cycle because they are the same quality as much older ones Cotton carpets used. I used to wash for many years. I've been wearing it in busy areas for a few months now and it's not wearing off. I really love these rugs! The only drawback for me is the lack of different sizes. I have 3 different sizes of turquoise but they all seem too small for what I'm going to do. I would like a very large one to replace the 3x5 that was a few feet shorter in both width and length. It's doing well in my hallway at the moment, but it's clearly too small for the room. I would also like to replace the short rug that sits in front of my kitchen sink with a longer rug - about 2 by 6 or 7 feet. Chardin, please make more sizes in this particular pattern and sew! You are so cute!
