They are truly unique. When I received it, I was a bit skeptical at first. They smelled like you're walking into a thrift store and I'm not sure if it's burlap and just a coincidence or if they were actually made from thrift jeans. In any case, I sprayed them with white vinegar until they were damp and let them dry in the sun. They feel durable and are tightly woven, but I don't think I would wash them regularly.
