Dead car battery. I had to leave it unplugged from the car outlet until I needed to charge my phone and once the phone was charged while the car was running, I unplugged it to conserve the car battery.

that would be zero stars if i could! The first one I ordered didn't turn on at all. A replacement charger was sent and only one charging port works. Save yourself the frustration and run to the dollar store, you'll have better luck. The materials are cheap. I didn't even want to try to get it back. I'll just call it a loss and throw it in the trash.

I had an over the counter car charger before you could buy it at a gas station. When I plug in my phone I get slow charging errors. With this car charger, my phone now gets enough power so that I can listen to music, use Bluetooth, make calls and charge my phone at the same time. The product is durable and has good build quality. Works as intended. Would buy again.

Worked for one day and then my car, a Honda CRV, had no power at all. It's not my car's fault because other chargers work and the company sent me a replacement. He worked for several days and also died. What happened? It's a great price, but if it doesn't work, then it doesn't matter. I didn't even want to ask for another replacement because the quality control doesn't look good. Two stars because fast and good quality.

We have a similar charger from BMW that sits flush with the cigarette lighter socket. Because this charger is NOT flush with the lighter, you cannot close the ashtray cover over it. I'm a little surprised others haven't mentioned this because now we have to take the charger out when not in use and put it back in when we need it to keep the ashtray lid closed when not in use. This does not apply to the BMW charger, which can remain switched on at all times when the ashtray lid is closed.
