This worked great as a replacement DC power cable for my Vantrue N1 DVR with GPS module. The direct USB port was tiring due to the bend it had to make from the top of the windshield to the headliner. We were disappointed with this cord when we bought it. While it fits Garmin and is better than the worn cable it replaces, it doesn't seem able to properly communicate with a Garmin device. Once connected, Garmin will assume it is connected to the computer and will take at least 5 minutes to fully boot up. Worse, it causes glitches in Garmin's GPS. I bought this cable on August 27, 2018 and on October 18, 2018 it already stopped working. It is only used for my DVR.
