I have never used this thread. I love that it's vegan and BPA-free. It doesn't have a super minty flavor, just a hint of flavor. But pleasant. The floss is stiff, and if your teeth are very close together, forget it. I can get it through most of my teeth with some difficulty, but not through the tooth at the back of my mouth where I have the cap. I was concerned there might be charcoal left on my teeth or maybe a charcoal aftertaste. But no, no problem. Recommended with the points I mentioned.

I am pleasantly surprised at how strong this vegan floss is. The filament is much thicker but rounder like a rope and not quite as flat as plastic filament as you would expect regular filament to be. This makes it thick and strong, but not so thick that it's difficult to floss. In fact, I had a great floss grip with this one. This thread works well. I can't say charcoal has a significant effect; maybe it depends on how discolored your teeth are. How dental floss works well. It won't snap or tear like some cheap threads. The floss slides between my teeth fairly easily and has some texture which I think helps it clean better. The mint flavor is less strong than the well-known brands, but I don't smell charcoal either. 4 stars because the price is high compared to famous American threads, which also suits me.
