I bought this watch as a possible family heirloom for my son. It was a special birthday present for him. He cared for him and valued him. It lasted a month. Looks like the mainspring is broken. To their credit, they replaced it, but the watch literally fell apart on day one. Now it's just an expensive heap of garbage. I bought a new watch that lasted MUCH longer than this piece of junk. So disappointed. Indeed very fragile and of poor quality.

I love this watch. I'm a woman and I wear this watch around my neck because I don't like wristwatches or quartz watches. When I first saw the watch I was surprised by its size. They are slightly but significantly smaller than traditional pocket watches. However, they appear to be quite sturdy and strong, holding up well to everyday use and the mechanical mechanism is intriguing. There is nothing special about the packaging but I know that the person I gave the watch to had great fun showing it off. After all, watches are also expensive in retail because of their solid quality.

Very good watch for the price. Haven't worn it much yet, but so far it seems to be holding up well. It makes a nice solid impression and seems to be very well made. It's smaller than most pocket watches, but not so small that the dial is difficult to read. I have other watches of the same quality, but I paid significantly more money for them. If you are looking for a good pocket watch at a reasonable price I highly recommend this watch.
