These lids are perfect for the microwave, or to put in the oven or fridge. You are wonderful. A little awkward to store, but that's okay because I like that I don't have to use plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or other junk for cooking or freezing. I have several Charles Viancin caps and I really like them. My only warning is that if you use a lid over the stove, be careful not to put it too close to the fire as this will stain the lid - it won't damage the lid, it will just stain it.
