Ordered for the trip so as not to leave my good Merkur safety razor in some hotel. After using it at home for 2 weeks, I will say that it is better. Yes, a crappy $14 Chinese razor shaves me better than my Mercure. It's a little heavy, which might be an issue for a smaller person, but it's good quality and a great shave. Thank you China!

This razor is quite heavy (the handle itself weighs almost 100 grams). However, the head is too light compared to the weight of the handle, so the overall balance isn't great. A medium-aggressive razor can provide a decent shave if you are an experienced razor. After a few months of irregular use, the handle broke (see photo). Do yourself a favour: pay a few bucks more and get a reliable, well-made razor.

Nice weight for a handle but a bit thicker than I would like. The guard inside leaves enough room for your protection, but also enough room for the razor to get close. Overall good product.

I wasn't expecting much from a Chinese DE razor, so cheap but it's worth it! Based on the rave reviews I was very impressed with this shaver. I really wanted to love him and he really has something to like. It's good but not great and probably not great for beginners as the weight makes it more aggressive and less forgiving. The head looks like a copy of Edwin Jagger DE89 or Muhle R89. Very nice! It has some weight and the blade is well attached. I like the "screw in" action compared to the open/close other grips. I recommend for the price.

BEST! Very soft. I have Jagger's, Merkurs, Gillettes and others but none of them can compete with this razor. Very close. You can't go wrong with this, especially for the price. My highest recommendation. And I don't make many recommendations. If ever!
