This is a sturdy chopping board that works as both a flat and concave board. I have two problems: A comb for collecting juices is annoyingly useless. The food sits below the ridge so the juices don't rush uphill. Even if you clean cut objects, they get stuck in the comb. Another problem is that the angle of the mezzanine needs to be steeper to allow better rocking.

I chop vegetables for lunch and often use broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. This helicopter makes it east and fast. I wash the veggies, pat dry, put a few on a cutting board and cut them up. Cleaning is garbage. Simply rinse and dry the blade. I do the same with the cutting board, but sometimes rub it with vegetable oil. Excellent purchase!

This is good if you want to cut vegetables. The deeper bowl shape is better for chopping dried fruits and nuts. I have to say I was concerned as it was the cheapest I found on Revain at the time but when it arrived I was very happy to see how durable the knife and board were. The photos do not convey this.
