Evaluation of the cherry pit

This summer I used this pit twice to make cherry caprese. Very simple and easy to use. In addition, it does not take up much space in the kitchen. I would buy this again.

I have one and gave one away.

It's practical, light and compact. It fits easily in my cluttered kitchen drawer. Works well with cherries I get from my dwarf cherry tree. Convenient as you don't need to attach it to the countertop like most others. Durable, easy to clean.

  • Manufactured by
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Nice "random " thing in the kitchen!

Great for cherries and I've used some for olives too. A totally random kitchen gadget, but very handy with cherries for fruit salad. So much so that I bought one for my niece as part of her bridal shower gift basket - for the girl who has everything!

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Little things

Easy to use but still messy and time consuming.

I only used them for pitting olives. This mostly works. Each olive needs to be loaded exactly the same way or you have to keep trying and checking again so it's very messy after a while but still better than other methods I've tried when I've had quite a bit to do. This worked better than the Progressive Multi (6) Pitter I bought which didn't work at all with olives and cost more.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • boring packaging

Better than the OXO brand

I bought this based on Test Kitchen review but no delivery for at least a week. In the meantime, I bought a cherry pit from Target because I needed to use it in a cake. Target had the OXO brand, and that was fine. But when this one arrived, I really felt the difference. Good: Little effort, very smooth, easy to clean, good for a whole bag of cherries. which can splash during the process as it has a shield

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Not to be joked or taken lightly.

Rumors that the cherry will simply succumb at the sight of this ferocious machine are false, and unfortunately the otter is only as good as its user. However, this thing is no joke. Expect a response unmatched in the field of cherry pits, a curved ergonomic handle, a pleasant click and a sheen of pitted cherries at good speed. However, don't play. If you don't center your cherry before you sprint, it will be on top of you and the hole will remain.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Can cause damage

How to contact seller after return period

I bought this item on 14/06/2020 and it worked fine until 06/08/20 (I only used it on cherries - no olives). The return period expired on 07/14/20. When the product failed, the release handle became detached from the device. I put it back on and it semi worked (had to push the punch back manually - I think the return spring had failed). I tried to find a way to contact the seller using the information provided by Revain but gave up after 15 minutes of trying. This is the only reason I am doing…

Works well, but large holes can get stuck in the exhaust port.

A quick and safe way to pit lots of cherries. It squirts quite a bit from the end, so I transfer the core to a large bowl so the working end is very just under the rim. Cherry varieties with larger pits (e.g. the Attica cherry, some of which are too big to fit in the device) sometimes end up with the pit getting stuck in the exit hole because they are too big when the pits are moving turn sideways. to get through the pit hole. I wish they were bigger so you don't have to stop and clear a…

Was looking for a cherry crutch got a coffee maker

I bought this cherry crutch a year ago and have had numerous delays in receiving the product. When it finally arrived, cherry season was over. This 2019 I used Cherry Pitter and it was great. You worked well and quickly. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered another one for my "girlfriend". It was delayed several times (a Prime member!), and when the package arrived it was a drop of coffee from a cup. I called customer service to resolve the issue. A few delays and when it arrived it…
