Works best with hard cheeses like sharp cheddar.

Discreet design. To cut the cheese you need to make a little effort. hard cheeses such as Very sharp cheddar, for example, can also be sliced well in the "thin slices" mode. However, Colby Jack is a softer cheese. The fact that the blade is thick with no sharp edges makes thin slices of soft, stretchy cheese impossible. I think if the blade had a sharp edge it would cut soft cheese thinner. Wire cutters can come in handy when slicing soft cheeses, but my experience is that the wire fails when…

One of the best!

This is one of the best food slicers in my opinion. It's pretty durable if you take your time and take your time. It's easy to use. It's relatively easy to clean. It takes some effort to get everything out of the corner of the blade where it connects. I like that it slices through the entire surface as intended. I'm only giving 4 stars because the end of the cheese sticks to the knife and has to be torn off after each bite. This can easily tear the pane. It takes a lot of time to prepare a…

I saw and bought this product after it appeared on Twitter's promotional list of useful gadgets. I've always had a penchant for useful kitchen utensils. It works exactly as advertised, I was not disappointed. Much more durable than normal "WIRE" cutting tools, running it for a year will prove excellent. In my experience, these types of cookware usually fail because part of their mechanism simply breaks (usually the cutting element). I've only had it for two weeks but so far everything is fine…

Fair Cheese Slicer for Kitchen and Dining

Cheese Slicer is much stronger than wire cutters. This allows you to conveniently set three thicknesses. The "blade" is perforated with holes to avoid pushing through the massive blade and creating drag on surfaces. Aged or aged cheeses like cheddar are generally still a problem and can be brittle and fall apart. I also try to cut larger bricks which can be found in 1-2 pound bulk purchases. Blocks. If you're doing the same thing, I'd suggest cutting the block in half before cutting. Washing…

Sturdy little device!

During the summer, my family consumes a lot of fruit, especially watermelon and melon. We usually eat 1 watermelon and 2 melons a week. I spent 30-45 minutes cutting everything, gathering it up, and cleaning up the counter (and floor) clutter. I saw this gadget on FB and decided to try it. I wasn't disappointed! The item itself makes a fairly stable / well-made impression. In the hand it weighs about as much as a normal kitchen knife. It is easy to hold and glides easily over the fruit. I was…
