I bought this brush to clean leather car seats and my leather recliner, it's perfect for applying saddle soap to the leather. I use it regularly for many things, it's the most versatile and has the right texture. Horse hair is densely filled, strong but soft. Also works great on fabric.

For everyone here complaining about hair falling out of this brush, that's just pathetic. This is a real horse hair brush. I just cleaned all my seats and I can tell you that in fact at most 8 hairs came out. If you're smart and actually run your fingers through it the first time you open it, most of the hair will come out. It will happen. Using the right leather cleaner worked great. And if I really need another one, I'll buy it again

So I bought my original at the Garage Detail Store. As soon as I picked it up, I realized that there is a big difference to a normal leather brush. It was heavier and the bristles were MUCH denser, making it the perfect density for cleaning leather and panels. It worked much better than a regular leather brush. I think this brush has 2 advantages over the other one: it has slightly softer bristles and secondly it has a better grip.
