Great combination. - Car Care

Great combination. No matter how many pastes and polishes of different quality, you only need two. One for removing swirls and scratches, the other for a final polish. And apply a coat of sealer or wax. That's it, and you can end your pathetic saga of buying all sorts of chemicals that becomes an exponential problem if you make life miserable for yourself. These formulations apply easily with very little residue. Just strip the planks and use a polishing machine and you'll love the end result.

Great Polish! the best car care

I've only recently started using Chemical Guys products and I have to say I've loved every single one of their products so far. The V36 and V38 made my car look so much better than new! These connections worked better with the Meguires Ultimate polish, which I doubted. Left is Chemical Guys V36-V38, right is Meguire's Ultimate Polish. I didn't have to use cutting paste to remove the scratches, but it took a little longer than Meguires polish. It's pretty easy to see the deep ruby red color on…

Chem Guys Compound and Polish V36/V38

I've been doing this for a long time. I'm no pro, but I know how to polish paint and I've used dozens and dozens of different products. That thing isn't worth that much money. Goes on smoothly enough, but doesn't "work" well and doesn't come off easily. I hate to say this, but the Mequires compound and polish works faster, softer, and lighter than that particular Chemical Guys product, and also gives a little more depth and shine for half the price. Maybe their other products work, but they…

Incredible cutting and polishing from the Chemical Guys!

I have sold multiple brands of products, conducted live demonstrations and taught. Meguires, 3M, Presta, etc. The Chemical Guys have made some truly incredible products and this duo pack is well worth the money. First, 36 cuts better and stays wet on the surface than any other compound I've ever used. Second, 38 polishes everything 36 can leave behind (which is very little) and temporarily seals your intricate work. Most polishes last around 90 days so I recommend using their wax oil for the…

You can never go wrong with Chemical Guys

I bought a used 2015 red VW Golf Tdi Sport Wagon and whoever has owned it didn't take good care of the paintwork, it needed some love. I've had a few Meguiars products that I've used in the past but this time I didn't get what I wanted from them. I use a cyclo polisher with two buffing wheels. I bought V36 and V38 and they worked great. I was able to remove all the small scratches that look like they came from a car wash and a few larger scratches that were pulled by someone pulling the hood…

Tell us about the results!

I'm not the type of person to write reviews, but after the results I've had with this stuff I almost felt obligated. I recently bought this 18 year old truck. The rear half had 18 years of oxidation. The front end was repainted and the previous owner chose not to completely repaint it. Not really knowing what to do, I did some reading, read some reviews, looked in some manuals and finally settled on the Chemical Guys 36 and 38 kit. I started making it by hand, which was quick resulted in me…

Not as quick or easy as CGI sounds

The Chemical Guys quickly and easily remove scratches and frizz from their videos. It's not that quick or easy. While both of these polishes worked fairly well, it took a lot of buffing to get the results, and the difference between a flawless polish and a polished polish is still visible once the wax wears off. Every time I wash my car I prep the areas that I needed to polish and keep trying and it gets a little bit better each time, but if I knew how much polishing it would take to get 3,000…
