Large barometric sensor

Great mini sensor for users familiar with Arduino microcontrollers. The Arduino library integration was straightforward and performed as expected for the sensor demo. Barometric pressure readings are accurate when local altitude is displayed.

Pros
  • Application for: accurate GPS navigation; internal and external navigation; recreational, sports and medical monitoring; weather forecast; vertical speed indicator.

Best value for testing, measuring and verifying

The sensors I use work well, but the results vary from one to another. You need to use correction values in the code and probably different correction values for each sensor. For the more experienced, this probably makes sense as some of these variations are likely to be present in the prototypes. I swapped sensors between layouts and the variation observed followed the sensor.
