📚 Optimized Shop Manual for 1949 - 53 Chevrolet Passenger Car Models Review

This guide helped me fix my 1951 Chevy. The Auto Repair Manual is a manual for car repair and I'm glad the old manuals are still available.

The manual is informative, but half of Section 12 of the book is in reverse order. It goes from 1.12. to 18.12., from 38.12. to 19.12., then further from 39.12. until 61.12. It's all there, but it's inconvenient to skip and read a few pages from front to back.

Manufacturer's service manuals usually cost more than aftermarket service manuals. Especially in this case when the alternative is the engine manual that covers many brands over several years. Believe me. I also have a car owner's manual that talks about these cars.

We bought this guide back in 2016 and I finally got around to reviewing the book. Text is clear and easy to read. Pictures are not high res or original quality but I was expecting to pay over $100 for a decent original repair manual. I've just flipped through the entire volume and if you look CAREFULLY you won't see a picture so blurry that you can't understand what they want you to do. to fix your car.
