These are great needles. Socks and mittens used to be too much for me - I'm a decent knitter, but the loom is slow and I don't like it; I believe double-pointed needles were invented by a demonic being; and the magic loop method always left me with a few stitches that were WAY big, not to mention all that extra patch cord was impractical. These needles are perfect - I'm so glad I finally found a solution to my sock and mitten dilemma.

They are tiny but I should have known they were. That's exactly what I ordered, but these are the first 9" wheels I've ever seen in person. They took a little getting used to and my hands still tire quicker than circles with longer needles, but I believe it gets better with more use. The cable is flexible but very durable. The blades are strong and perfectly sharpened. I really like them and can't wait to try new patterns and techniques.
