I was very impressed with these needles. Absolutely smooth transition from cable to needle. There are no rough spots anywhere. I highly recommend them. I woven blankets from 3 skeins of yarn. I found it too hard for my old hands and had to quit. But the problem was in the pattern, not the needles.

Patty's review: First I bought a set of replacement ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular needles. I liked them so much that I bought 2 fixed circular needles. They are smooth and easy to work with. The tips are sharp but I had no problem with them splitting the yarn. I definitely recommend this brand and this particular needle.

Chia Goo has the BEST circular needles: The cable has just enough spring and body to keep it from bending. The stitching connecting the needle to the cable is so smooth that my stitching doesn't get stuck. The point of the needles is sharp enough to knit both mohair and thick yarn with ease.
