Set of 21 jobber length drill bits includes inch sizes 1/16" through 3/8" in 1/64" increments. Cobalt steel provides extended tool life compared to high-speed steel drill bits when drilling hard materials. Gold oxide finish lubricates and provides wear resistance on ferrous materials. Self-centering 135-degree split point penetrates hard material without a pilot hole and produces small chips to reduce clogging. Extra thick web for increased strength and rigidity compared to standard drill bits. Made in the USA.

Subpar cobalt drill bits

As a hesitant buyer, I was really hoping for better results with these drill bits. As a result of my tests, I determined that they were not very durable and had a tendency to break easily. While the price point is decent, I would recommend looking into other options in the Industrial and Scientific category to find a more reliable product.

Good set for the price, could have been a bit sharper from the factory

Decent set of cobalt bits for the price and I wasn't expecting too much. They cut 304 stainless and mild steel well, not a bad edge but could do with a little sharper in my opinion. I've taken a few hits with the Drill Doctor but have generally been happy using it for smaller projects.

Correct, Sharp, USA Made M42 Cobalt Drill Bits

They are sharp, well made and correct. CL marked cobalt USA. They don't have 3 faces. For the money this is a great set and I usually use something else for bigger holes so it's perfect, cheaper and more wearable than the full index. I don't have them often used but very happy so far and i will update if there is any issue but it looks like quality american drill bits are not that easy to find anymore.
