Description of Chicago Latrobe High Speed Length 60 Piece

Set of 60 short length drill bits includes one each of wire gauge sizes #60 through #1. High-speed steel (HSS) provides hardness for wear resistance. Black oxide finish reduces wear while promoting chip and coolant flow on ferrous materials. Self-centering 135-degree split point penetrates hard material without a pilot hole and produces small chips to reduce clogging. Extra thick web for increased strength and rigidity compared to standard drill bits. Made in the USA.

Efficient Industrial Drill Set

This high-speed drill set is a must-have for anyone in the industrial and scientific field .As my tests showed, the Chicago Latrobe High Speed Length 60 Piece set is incredibly efficient and precise. The set comes in a sturdy storage case making it easy to transport and organize. The only downside is the price, but the quality and longevity of the drills are worth the investment..

Pros
  • Efficient and precise
Cons
  • Expensive

Bought 4 years ago, still going strong

When I first started milling I needed a full set of bits. These are great taps that have lasted 4 years and are still working. As you'd expect, bits like #8 (1/4"-20 taps, M6 taps, etc.) are common and wear out more than others. I've used them on most aluminum alloys, but also on , and G10 split points are what you need, much more accurate hole placement.

Pros
  • Short bits
Cons
  • Damaged
