🐶 Chilly Dog Tattooed Mom Dog Sweater: A Cozy Fashion Statement for Small Dogs Review

This is my fourth Chilly Dog sweater, all 100% wool and keeps me warm on winter walks. My stomach is low to the ground, which keeps me dry as I crouch, squirm, and jump over snowy bushes and trails. I'm also quite charming looking and get a lot of compliments from the people I meet. They even think my mom knitted them for me which is so funny because she can't even knit.

I have had this sweater for many years and finally decided to write a review. I love this sweater for my 11 pounds. mini dachshund! It sits perfectly on it and wool retains heat. It gapes a little at the bottom and isn't snug against her stomach, but that suits me as it covers her entire back. Someone can easily adjust the fit if they want. Finding Doxy dog clothes isn't easy, so I'm really glad this sweater has lasted for years.

I was afraid this wouldn't work as I've had bad luck with animal shirts in the past, but this is great! I measured my dog and the length is just right for him. The arm slits are perfectly placed at the bottom (I got confused once when I got an aviator shirt with arm slits down the sides - not for a human). Best of all, there's a cutout at the bottom so he doesn't pee on it! We've had his problem in the past too. Someone thought while designing. And I'm pretty sure every other dog on the block…

I love this sweater and the Chilly Dog brand in general! I bought the Small and it fits my 1 year old Frenchton perfectly! She weighs around 16-17 pounds and has some room for her if she gains some weight. She just loves wearing it! I definitely recommend this brand. Wool sweaters are a little more expensive than the typical acrylic blend sweaters you find in big stores, but they're worth the money.
