Suitable for watercolor and ink

I usually paint with watercolor or ink. I love the quality of this brush. I use them to create thin or thick lines as needed. I really recommend this brush!

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Some flaws

Very good brushes: Paint

I received these and at first glance I thought they were too thick for liner brushes BUT when I used them they were ok. I'm happy with them and the way they overlay color is wonderful, like they have their own voice. I am a ceramist and I use them with underglaze.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Trade-in

You get what you pay for

Bought these to experiment with not expecting quality. They don't have as many points as shown in the picture. They don't work well with details. They are cheaply made and don't last long. If you want something of high quality, look for a real oriental art shop. If, like me, you just want to play around with gall ink, questionable oil paints, and masking fluid, this might be for you!

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

I mainly use them for watercolors and have found that they can produce very expressive and clean strokes. They are a bit thicker than a rigger but have long bristles and move the same way, somewhere between a rigger and a round brush. I liked them so much that I ordered an extra set.

I love these brushes!

These brushes have a very fine, springy tip and are long enough to hold plenty of ink or paint. I loaded the brush with watery paint, then some more concentrated paint, then touched the tip to the full strength of the paint. Or touched the tip of a different brush with a different color and just been mesmerized by what came out. I'm a calligrapher who really appreciates pressure and relaxation, from very fine lines to very broad lines, and these brushes are wonderful. I bought these for a…
